Who Are We?
The Rotary Club of Nevada City Foundation is a Community Development and Social Services organization whose objective and purpose is to promote charitable, humanitarian, and educational programs.
The Difference We Make
The Rotary Club of Nevada City Foundation partners with the Rotary Club of Nevada City and Rotary International. We serve our community through community projects, vocational scholarships, and youth programs.
In 2025, The Rotary of Nevada City Foundation partnered with 1st Five Nevada County and the Dollywood Foundation to launch Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Nevada County. The Rotary Clubs of Nevada City, Truckee, Penn Valley and Grass Valley and Rotary District 5190 along with generous local donors funded the program.Already more than 1,000 children, ages birth to 5 years old, are enrolled and are receiving free, high-quality books each month, delivered directly to their homes, personalized with their name. For many families these books are the first to fill their home libraries, supporting brain development, early literacy skills, and bonding moments that will last a lifetime.
Today, thanks to your support and the commitment of our community. Our goal is to help make those same moments possible for all children aged 0-5 across Nevada County.
