Commercial Street business owner Anne Han, accompanied by Nevada City Mayor AdamKline, brought us information about her Winnie Superette specialty market. Definitely worth a visit for unusual and unique products from around the world… She brought delicious treats along as well!
Congratulations to Paul Boch for earning his Paul Harris +4 blue stone pin, presented by our Foundation Chair Lynda Guthrie. He reminded us of his $25 monthly contribution and how after 4 short years … a new Paul Harris.
Nancy Kemp met with the Girls Who Code Class of 25/26 at Mrs. May’s room at Seven Hills Middle School. Twenty young ladies grades 6, 7, and 8 will meet weekly, Tuesdays at 3pm. One of the wonderful Club opportunities to serve is to provide snacks each week. See Nancy if you would like to provide treats on occasion during the year. 10 year history now!
This week's program at Bodhi-Hive, 12:15pm has been rearranged so that we will have our Dr.Chris Newsom sharing her adventures as a volunteer doctor in Bhutan. Her son Peter joined us at the Round Table last Thursday…always a treat to see him.
We also had Alicia Hundley (Rotarian from Los Barriles) in attendance. Which reminds me — please feel free to bring a guest along with you. And give a call to a member you haven't seen in a while. Our Club Directory is on our website.
Thanks go out to Robin and Tom for all the behind-the-frontlines efforts. Very Grateful are we all!
