Yes, we have our Club’s Holiday Dinner coming up on Thursday. Last call for RSVP. Contact Cathy ASAP if you need a reservation! It will be great to see everyone since we have been apart for several weeks. Bring a requested gift or a gift card if you want to add a bit of joy to a local child this holiday season!

Our next lunch meeting is December 14th and it will be a celebration! Our guest will be DG Stacy Graham. We have many successes to celebrate with our DG!

Caring and Sharing Holiday Cheer

It's that time of year again! The Caring and Sharing tree is up in the lobby of the Grass Valley Police Department with tags for holiday gifts to cheer local children! More tags will be added daily! Our Club is inviting members to make a quick stop in the GV Police lobby and pick a tag for a child in need! Then buy the gift requested to bring special joy this holiday season. GVPD is open weekdays 8am-5pm. Tight on time? You can donate a gift card of any value to add to our gifts.

If you want to participate, bring your gifts to our Holiday Party on December 7 and Judy Soldavini and George will deliver them for our Club.

Join us for a night of fun fellowship and good food, along with a surprise here or there. You won’t want to miss it. As always, feel free to wear your best holiday attire: Most elegant, ugliest, most festive, most (you fill in the blank)… you get the picture.

Wednesday evenings: December 6 and 13 from 4:30-6:30 and 6:30-9:00.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing

Rotary has a long tradition of bell ringing with the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign through the holidays each year throughout the US and beyond.

We still have 1 opening. Contact Walt Stickel if you would like to join a team Saturday afternoon December 9. Nevada City Rotary will be ringing in front of SPD Nevada City from 10 am - 6pm. If not ringing, drop by with a few coins or bills and share the cheer and hope as we ring to raise money to support our local community!
