If you missed Thursday night's social, you missed an entertaining craft talk by Kelly Babinau. There may be a tasty field trip to extend our understanding of her topic of wine. Thank you, Kelly. Everyone had a great time.
We will be informed of WM's updated policies this coming Thursday. Don’t forget to RSVP and choose a meal for your lunch.
Thank you to Nancy for her work with Girls Who Code this year. From the photos and reports, it looks like everyone, both youth and adult, had a good time. Nine girls participated this year. The science and woodshop teacher, Leslie May, lead the group in learning two computer languages. We celebrated our last session on Tuesday, March 19th; the girls each showed one of their finished programs to cheers.
Be looking for items for our Upscale Resale. Items with a potential for high-end resale are needed. If you have questions, ask Carolyn or another committee member.
We are looking for help setting up our meetings. The flag, podium, podium table, and bell are stored downstairs in the restaurant and must be set up for the meeting. Please volunteer to help with our lunch meetings. Thank you.

The reconstruction of the Main St. (Nevada St.) bridge has begun and the bridge over to the parking lot that many of you use is now closed off. We realize that this will be an inconvenience but we do not want it to affect your attendance at our meetings. Note there is a pedestrian walkway through the Nevada St parking lot to Broad St between freeway side of parking lot and green fence.
Please remember Boe and TJ’s will be impacted way more than us and we need to continue to support his business. Cathy will continue communication with the City about issues and options. Contact Cathy if you have mobility concerns.
Please click the map for a larger map indicating parking options. For more details…
Nevada City Rotary is planning a fundraiser to support our community service and youth programs on Saturday, May 4. The site at 175 Ridge Rd is easily accessible from 49 Hwy at Gold Flat/Ridge Rd exit and from Zion St in Nevada City.

You are invited to submit your business information to be included. The free directory is a great way to publicize your business/profession and provide a valuable reference guide for doing business with other Rotarians. We encourage your participation.
