Thank you for the wonderful evening last Thursday! Our Pumpkin and Harvest Vegetable Auction was an amazing success and so much FUN! Congratulations to Lynda Guthrie for her high bid on Frieda and to Walt Stickle on best costume. A great big thank you to Cathy Wilcox- Barnes, Judy Soldavini, Tom Ryan and NCRotary friend Gloria Riley for their work setting up, running, and then cleaning up the event. Thank you for such a fun evening.

We have several events coming up – World Polio Day and Information on Oct 24 at the Firehouse Museum, 10,000 Meals for the Food Bank with the Kiwanis members on Oct 25, and replanting the Caldor Fire area on Oct 28. Cathy Wilcox-Barnes is looking for a partner to drive to the planting, so give her a call.

What a night!We raised $1,035.00 for the night and $375.00 from the pumpkin cup that's been passed around meetings for the past couple of months, for a total of $1,410.00 to date for our Pumpkins for Polio effort. Way to go!
