How exciting to have Steven and Tom join our club this past Thursday! IPDG Jeff Gabriel did a great job of inducting them into Rotary. IPDG Jeff gave us a peek into what a DG’s tour of District 5190 has to offer to our communities and the world in service to others. As we have experienced in our club, Rotary has a great deal to offer each person who joins us, whether it be in fellowship, leadership, knowledge, or service. Thank you each for being a part of the Rotary Club of Nevada City, an amazing club.
New member Steven Holt with sponsor Mai Lee, Collin Curtis, and Jeff.
Long time Rotarian Tom Boxler who transferred from Alturas Sunrise with sponsor Karen McDonald and Jeff.
This Thursday at our social we will be having an “Update Day”. Nancy will enlighten us about Girls Who Code, Chris will give us glimpse into what will be taking shape as the Earth Day Celebration, and Cathy will be giving us information on Los Barriles if that service opportunity is in your future. I don’t think I’ll make this year, but I want to place it on my calendar for the future. On Feb 1st we will have Cathy give us her craft talk.
Our social starts at 5:30pm, come at 5:15 to place your order for pizza or a salad. See you there!

Screenings are for glucose levels (to determine possible diabetes), blood pressure, vision, and a much-needed dental exam These screenings are very appreciated and followed up by the East Cape Health Clinic.
