With more pictures and videos and even Drone shots to come, the Rotary Club of Nevada City celebrates our2nd Annual Paws and a Cause event with relief and gratitude. Whew, (or Woof)... it is in the books. And what an effort put forth by our members, spouses, siblings, friends, announcers, judges, sponsors, contributors, and most of all … our Community and their DOGS. Our champion Best Dressed Dog and Pal - Mr Contractor and his tool bag!

Plus our Ghidotti and SAEL logistics team: Grant (RYLA), Margaux, Sage, and Kai along with Karen's Mt St Marys students who ran our activities. Special thanks go to Steven for coordinating logistics in advance with students and our vendor hosts, Nicole for the amazing basket raffle offerings, Cathy and Tom R for countless behind the scenes efforts, Kim and Scott Lay for running the show, and the dedicated event meeting throughout the year. And Extra Specials to Tom and Robin Milam for efforts beyond description.

Our amazing painted pumpkins go windows around Nevada City this week in the lead up to our October 15 Palooza Family Celebration and Pumpkin Auction.
And the painting continues! Most of our artists have pumpkins at home that we are finishing and will bring them to Miners Foundry on October 15 for our auction. Please see Giudita if you can paint additional pumpkins!
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Nevada County — Books are shipping!
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Nevada County continues to expand enrollments for children ages 0-5! Books will shipping any day now to over 500 Nevada County children. A big shout out to our lead partners, Dolly Parton Imagination Library and First 5 Nevada County and the generous donations from our community!
