Area 4 Foundation Dinner RecognitionAt our Area 4 Foundation Dinner, we celebrated Cathy as our newest Triple Crown Major Donor, Dennis as Major Donor, and fellow members for additional Paul Harris Fellow achievements. Nevada County Community Leadership Institute GraduatesChief Dan Foss graduated Nevada County Community Leadership Institute (NCCLI) with other local Rotarians on Friday June 16, 2023. Nevada City Rotary graduates Alison Lehman and Robin Milam, both alumni of the 2001/2002 program were on hand at the NCCLI Graduation ceremony Friday at Gold Miners Inn to celebrate with Dan and the class of 2022/2023. Then, at our social meeting on the 15th, Sierra Spivack spoke to us about her upcoming year in the Rotary Youth Exchange program. She’ll be living with a host family near Milan, Italy. She is learning Italian over the summer and plans to be in more frequent communication with her new family. She expects that this new year in high school will be an "esperienza arricchente” (enriching experience).
