Nevada City Rotarians, Family, and Friends,

Thank you for taking a few minutes to read through your Rotario … we have a couple of deadlines that have passed so I hope you were able to complete the Survey and RSVP for our Holiday Party this coming Thursday, December 11…see below!

Cathy WB stepped up in a big way last week to give us a history report on the Hospitals that have existed here in Nevada County. Thank you, Cathy…pictures and all!

And we enjoyed greeting our eighth grade REGL team from Mt St Mary’s. Karen says they completed their project and delivered the coats they had collected on Friday. Thanks for all the coats and keep the food coming...

Secretary Robin Milam keeps us right up to date on all we have up-coming and underway in this publication…Thank you, Robin. So very, very helpful…(Thanks Pearce and all! RM)

Enjoy your Rotario…!

Peace,
Pearce
Rotary Food Bank Challenge 2025

December 1-12, 2025 for Food Bank of Nevada County

The Area 4 "Inaugural Nevada County Rotary Food Drive" Challenge is in full swing! Bring your food donations to Cathy and/or make Monetary donations! To do so, scan our club’s unique QR code on the bin or click NCRotary donation . Share it digitally with friends and family. Every $1 donated = 1 pound toward your total!

The winning club will receive a custom-engraved Rotary Food Drive Bell, which they can proudly keep until next year's challenge. Needless to say, our club immediately accepted the challenge. Cathy has been bringing food boxes to Club meetings and we know a number of you have made generous monetary donations through the QR Code. We enjoy the exhileration of seeing much-needed food collections come in to restock the depleted shelves at the Nevada County Food Bank. The challenge will be based on the weight of food collected.
