I hope you have been able to find ways to keep cool this week.
Thank you to Lynda Guthrie for her craft talk on her non-profit management career and on her retirement adventures. I loved her friend’s question to her about if she didn’t have any fear, what she would do? That question became our table discussion question during our social time. Lots of great conversations could be heard! Thank you all for taking part in the discussion and sharing time.
We also introduced our Polio Pumpkin Mug for donations for eliminating Polio. These donations will help us to meet our donation goal for this International Rotary project. The mug will be at the sign in table and be passed around for your donations at each meeting.
This week we are asking you to enter TJ’s on the Broad Street side of the building and find Tom Ryan for your payment and meal ticket. Please wait in an orderly manner as Tom gets to you. If you were unable to RSVP your order earlier, please remember that we are not ordering off the menu any longer to avoid confusion, as we announced at last week’s meeting. A meal choice has been made for those late orders; it will be at the discretion of the owner/chef. If you have decided that you are not going to eat, you should still RSVP so that we can make sure we have seating (and “not eating” meal ticket) for you. TJ’s sets up the room on the number of people who RSVP.
This week we will be having an interesting conversation with the Drs. Agness and their passion for helping with medical support in world crises.
Don’t forget to RSVP for this interesting meeting. The menu items are listed just below this message.
