What a weekend! From the Interact Foot Race to the Nevada City Chamber Awards to a successful District 5190, to Cathy being honored with the “Jumping In With Both Feet” award.

Louise walked as our incoming President, Steven was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow by DG Stacy for his leadership with Conference sponsorships,and Steven, Robin, Karen, and Dennis worked as SAAs. Cathy did an awesome job as lead for the SAAs and baked cookies for all workers.
This week, Kim will discuss the Value of Community Media. The week after, the Club will be dark on the fifth Thursday. Thanks to Gayle for sharing her poetry with us last Thursday.

Salad Option Shrimp & Crab Louie - Bay shrimp, dungeness crab, shredded iceberg, hard boiled egg, pickled red onion, asparagus, avocado, celery hearts, "louie dressing"
Meat Option The Classic Burger - 1/3# Wagyu beef patty, White cheddar, pickled red onions, Russian dressing, lettuce, tomato, brioche bun with fries.
Vegetarian Option The Caesar - Classic Caesar dressing, local gems, shaved parmesan, deer creek sourdough crostini, shallot jam.
Please RSVP by noon on Wednesday and specify your choice for lunch. Meeting charges are $25 if you are eating and $10 if you are not eating. You may pay with cash, check or credit card (+$1 fee - $26/meal) at lunch. If you wish to prepay, after you have RSVPed, go here to prepay. Add $1/meal (i.e. $26) to cover fees and notify Tom Ryan via Email that you have prepaid.

Chief Dan and Nevada City Rotary was honored at Nevada City Chamber of Commerce’s 122nd annual Awards Night & Dinner - “A Long Table” Event, Saturday May 18, 2024.
Dan accepted his Elza Kilroy award Saturday evening accompanied by his wife Lisa and daughter Olivia. Tom Ryan and Tom Milam accepted the Community Service award for our Club and were joined by Lynn, Kelly (and Dave), and Nicole.
Board Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month. Our next meeting will be May 13 at 4:00pm via Zoom.
