Welcome to the Rotary Club of Nevada City’s website. Nevada City is located in Northern California's Gold Country approximately half-way between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. The Club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. It meets weekly and is nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

The Club is in District 5190 of Rotary International, which is a worldwide organization that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. The main objective of Rotary is service -- in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. The service projects are categorized by the Nevada City Rotary Club's "Five Avenues of Service":
